Eric Enck's bio:
Eric Enck was born in Ephrata Pennsylvania in 1976, and some say so was his insanity. During a troubling childhood Enck discovered Stephen King and Clive Barker. He began dictating poetry at the early age of fifteen when he had to kill his beloved dog, Strata, based on the dogs suffering illness. Enck lived in a massive old house in the deep woods of the mountains in Ephrata, where at the mountains base a legendary haunted hospital remained in the tales of people residing in Ephrata. Ironically, the house was torn down when Enck left Ephrata in 1996. Enck moved to Delaware and discovered his most prized possession, his wife Johnna. Eric Enck has two children, Mason Edward, and Mallory Ann, both of which are the reasons he writes.

Stephens a Detective for the Lead Police Department, finds himself and his partner Hill investigating a new string of murders. The murders were done in the fashion of a vampire draining the blood from the victims through two small puncture holes in the neck. Something about this case seemed wrong from the very beginning. Can Stephens and Hill track down the elusive vampire or is he in for a brand new terror that they could never be prepared for. Only time will tell. Horror has a new name and it is The Mortal Vampire. Mr. Bradfute is a mysterious storyteller that captured my attention from the start. The ending left me wanting more, because I honestly still have no idea who the Mortal Vampire truly is! The Mortal Vampire: Second Bite is the first book in a Suspense/Thriller series that I would highly recommend and will definitely be reading as the stories seek another victim. Author Steve Payette will be here to tell us a tale.
I've written the first and second novels in my Trevor Samuels Mystery series. "The Back of My Mind" is the first novel in the series. Trevor Samuels, an investigator with fifteen years experience, is commissioned to investigate three arson losses. After numerous leads fail to generate any suspects, he suddenly gets a break in the form of fifteen-year-old Goth boy named Jesse. Jesse is heavily involved in the contraband cigarette market and he exposes Trevor to this seedy underworld. While trying to determine if the arsons are related to the contraband cigarette market, Trevor uncovers greed, murder and corruption among the people he respects most. Join Trevor as he investigates the most difficult case of his career, a case that will either make his career or haunt him for the remainder of his life. A second publisher has contacted me about publishing "The Back of My Mind," and I am awaiting there terms prior to deciding which publisher I will sign with. The novel should be published in October 2008. I just finished writing "PAIN," the second Trevor Samuels Mystery. Warren Pyke and Martin Michaels have a plan that can't fail, or so they think. People claim fake injuries as a result of staged car accidents all the time, so why shouldn't they get their piece? Enter Trevor Samuels, a veteran detective hired to investigate their claims. Trevor thinks it's a routine "get rich quick" scheme...until things get complicated. When a chop shop and a couple of car thieves get involved, Trevor quickly discovers that things are not as they appear, and if he doesn't act quickly, he too will enter a world of PAIN! "PAIN" should be published shortly after "The Back of My Mind." My novels are unique in that reader participation is encouraged! A question is asked at the end of each novel, and it's up to you, the reader, to decide whether or not a character or team of characters make it into subsequent novels in the series. I intended on incorporating the winning vote from "The Back of My Mind" in the second novel, but the second novel may be published shortly after the first. To solve this problem, I've decided to incorporate the winning vote resulting from "The Back of My Mind" reader participation section into volume three of the series (which has yet to be written). The most popular vote from the reader participation section of "PAIN" will be written into the fourth volume. Please see the reader participation section on my website (www.geocities.com/samuelstrevor/index) for full details. The first few chapters of both novels are also on the site. Please feel free to leave me a comment, they are appreciated!

Author Col. Lynn Carroll with her new book ENTERTAINING WAR
Lieutenant Colonel Laura "Fox" Den is a fighter pilot and the first woman to command an F-22 Raptor squadron. Widowed five years before by a terrorist attack that left her with two kids and a heavy psychological burden, she isn't exactly the poster child the newly transformed Air Force wants. However, she's really good at what she does and probably has no more stress than other fighter jocks in an expeditionary combat unit fighting the Global War on Terrorism.
But, that stress level explodes when an American hacker, an avid video gamer with a grudge against the Air Force, generates several seemingly random cyber attacks that create havoc in her life. The attacks target her children's videogames, down a Raptor in her squadron and precipitate a surprise war on the Korean Peninsula just as unification efforts between North and South Korea are about to be finalized. Immersed in these multilevel attacks, Lieutenant Colonel Den has to prioritize her responses as a mother, a target and a warfighter.
Assisted by her mentor and close friend, Colonel John "Wart" Hogge, Den is about to lead her Raptor squadron to war in the Pacific Rim when another cyber attack comes from a totally unexpected source that changes her orders and her life.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-il, the Dear Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is now engaged in an all out attempt to use the war for his latest perverted agenda. Den and Hogge become immersed with other unknown undercover players trying to stop the conflict from escalating before it kills millions of refugees caught between two armies, destroys the peace in Asia and revives what has been called "The Forgotten War."

C.L. Freire will be here to reveal her secret.
I'm a passionate writer with the first two novels in my Tween fantasy series complete. I've been writing since I was thirteen years old, but dreaming about it since I could hold up a pencil and locate the nearest blank wall. I remember scribbling on napkins at parties, on menus in restaurants and in every notebook I carried with me to school. An avid reader as well, my mom signed me up for the Reader's Weekly Book Club when I was seven. I would devour the books the same day they arrived, and spend the rest of the week analyzing them. Throughout my schooling years, I was nicknamed by my friends, "book girl".
In my teens, I discovered the music in words and threw myself into poetry; something I also became known for throughout my time in school. I've written personalized poems for just about everyone I know, and in most cases, being a computer fanatic, framed the poems with a photo background related to the people I wrote the poems for. In my later teens, I began writing scenes--a venture that carried me into adulthood until I finally fed my desire to finally try my hand at writing a novel. My first attempt didn't exactly go off without a hitch, but I learned from that experience. Nearly five years ago, I began working on my current project, a tween fantasy series about David and his search for someone very important, his unmasking of a dangerous man bent on destruction, and the birth of one of Elder City's greatest heroes. I've always loved YA books as well, so my goal is to one day leap into that market full throttle. I'm a day dreamer at heart, and quite a silly person who loves to laugh and make others laugh. I tend to give in to my perfectionist side, which sometimes drives people crazy.
Writing, for me, is a mind-bending obsession that drives anyone who will listen, crazy. I also love neo film noir dripping with atmosphere, dark city nights and thunderstorms. But most and foremost->I love spending time with my husband, who is my best friend and, bar none, the best thing ever to come into my life. I accept people for who they are, as I am no one to judge. I look forward to the day when I walk into a bookstore and see people lined up to buy my books, just as I look forward to the day when a new author looks to me and says, "Thank you for inspiring me to reach for my dreams no matter the obstacles that stood in my way." My dream is to be a best selling author and live in NYC with my husband and my baby girls, Midnight (my kitty--the most beautiful in the world) and Muffy (my gorgeous little Maltese).
